Step 1/ Calculation of Braking Power Required.

Based on motor size and the percentage of the full motor torque required
to stop the load, select the Braking Power required from the table below.

 


Step 2/ Selection of Appropriate Unit.

¨  The resistors DBR*-**R can be selected using the charts below.

¨  Plot across from the Braking Power you have selected from the table above
to the appropriate duty cycle.

¨  If deceleration time exceeds 10 seconds duty cycle should be taken as continuous

¨  Select the module whose Characteristic lies above the point plotted

¨  Special resistors can be supplied for any duty, Please call or email for details.
